DARENHES Inc. was established in 2000 to develop and realize hydropower
plant projects.
DARENHES was originally established according to the law no: 3096 as an
auto-producer to construct and operate electricity generation
facilities. In that respect an agreement was signed with the Ministry of
Energy on 01.08.2002 to realize Seyrantepe Dam and HEPP project with an
installed capacity of 49,7 MW on Peri river situated within the borders
of Elazığ. Water Rights Agreement was also signed with DSI (State Water
Works Department).
With the new law no: 4628 and after the establishment of EMRA (Energy
Market Regulation Authority) ’’Generation Company’’ license was acquired
for the Seyrantepe HEPP, Pembelik HEPP and Tatar HEPP.
Structured under a partnership of Bilgin Energy-Limak Inc., DARENHES
is operating Seyrantepe HEPP and Dam since September 2008.
Pre-survey studies for Pembelik HEPP and Tatar HEPP is concluded and
civil works for both projects has started. Both projects are
expected to be taken under operation by 2010. |
