An agreement has been signed between Mazı-3 Inc. and Ministry of Energy
according to the Law #:3096, for realization of Mazı-3 WEPP and sale of
the electricty to the Electricity Generation Co. Inc. on October 10th
2000.
With the new law #:4628, Mazı-3 applied for the required license as a
power generation company to EMRA, and acquired the license in June 2006.
With a total installed capacity of 22,5MW, Mazı-3 WEPP is planned to be
established with 9 of 2,5MW turbines. An annual generation of 79
million kWh is expected from the plant. The generated energy is planned
to be sold to the free market including wholesale companies and
industrial facilities. |
