Bandırma Wind Energy Power Plant

Bandırma WEPP is located on the hills parallel to Marmara Sea at 10 km east of Bandırma town. The wind measurement campaign had started in 1999, and these measurements are evaluated by the independent assestment companies. The project is consisting of 27 wind energy turbines with 1.5 MW installed power each.
Bandırma WEPP is not only the first privately owned wind energy power plant in Turkey, but it also increased the installed wind power capacity of Turkey by 150% from 20 MW to 50 MW in 2006. 

The importance of this project is, besides being the first privately owned wind park; it is financed by Bilgin Energy without having any feasable purchase guarantee by the government.

The annual power generation of 197.000.000 kWh from the Bandırma WEPP is adequate to feed an 80.000 household. Furthermore, it reduces 116.781,60 tonnes of carbon emission annually, which helps to eliminate the major source of global warming. This is also the first volunteer carbon credit project in Turkey.

Hacılar Hydroelectric Power Plant

Hacılar HEPP is located in Hacılar town Malatya province of Turkey and has 14 MW installed power. The construction and installation was completed in a very short period of 21 months and under operation since 2003. Hacılar HEPP is the first hydroelectric power plant project in Turkey, being realized in the free market with a production license owned by a private company. 

The water derived from the intake structure of Darende Balaban Irrigation Canal built by DSİ (General Directorate of State Hydraulic Works) is used to generate electricity from a gross head of 326 meters.

Darıca Weir ve Darıca-1 Hydroelectric Power Plant

Darıca 1 HEPP is located on Melet River at Mesudiye town of Ordu province in Turkey. It has an installed capacity of 112.42 MWm / 110.34 MWe. The project has water storage in Karıca Weir. The Karıca Weir being 35 meters high from the foundation and 28 m high from thalweg, the energy tunnel having 5.5m diameter and being 8.5 km long, the surge chamber having 70 m height, the powerhouse, substation and the Energy transmission line were constructed, installed and get under operation in a very short time period of 2.5 years.

Mazı-3 Wind Energy Power Plant

Mazı 3 WEPP is located on the hills parallel to Mersinli Gulf next to Alaçatı Bay at the Çeşme peninsula of İzmir province of Turkey around Zeytineli village. The wind measurements have been continuing since 1998 and according to evaluation of these data, the project has been realized with 12 wind turbines. With an annual production of 105.000.000 kWh, Mazı-3 WEPP has a carbon emission reduction of 130.896,00 tonnes.

Bucakkışla Weir and Hydroelectric Power Plant

Bucakkışla Weir and WEPP will be located on the Göksu River in southeast of Bucakkışla town of Karaman province. It will have a weir at 406.50 m crest level and 403 m operating level and will be made up of hardfill. In a flood condition, the weir will have maximum level of 405.30 m. After the intake structure, the water will follow the energy tunnel with 5.5m inner diameter and 4980 m length and will come to the power plant. It will have a total of 41 MW installed capacity and will have an annual production of 162.000.000 kWh.
